... I am up to them today. In view of author blog nomination thingy should probably be jumping up and down doing the 'oooh, look at me!' bit, but not v.comfortable doing that sort of thing anyway.
However, I have joined my fellow Choc Lit authors for a blog on how we got started. There are photos too. Sigh.

Jeanne, thank you.
Helen, both... and sometimes a bit seat-of-the-pants scary too!
LBD, what an excellent idea. Hunky men with twinkly eyes serving profiteroles! Bring it on! Actually, quite lucky on the homefront so must not be greedy. As for photo - sticky-out ear, teeth, ribbon, jumper knitted by Ma.. Still stuck with sticky-out ear, but have fixed teeth and abandoned ribbon. Ma's still inclined to knit for me though.
Debs, thanks... don't know how you manage to pack to much in. Are you reviewing tomorrow?
It was great to click over to see how your writing (and reading) began. Funny coincidence re the early photo is that I recently found a funny little photo of me ... around age 4 or 5. I took it to show the gang at the shop, and they just giggled away. Plaid dress, Keds tennis shoes, and pretty much the same hair cut.

I like to think of you on that swing - well, you said you were a swing girl!
Frances - I would love to see that photo! My early hair life is the history of ribbons - ma loved them and I was too little to protest!
Pondside, many, many happy hours on swing! Dad made it for me so it was industrial-size - excellent for pretending to fly.
Loved the Famous Five too. Did you watch the Enid Blyton drama last night?
I was a Blyton lover too, did you see the play Enid?

Fennie - many thanks.
Cait, thank you for visiting.
Kate,' good to see you again.
Leigh, thanks for looking.
